Director of Professional Services

Job description

Worklinq is looking for a Director of Professional Services who can lead – and strengthen – our services business, while building a high-performing team and driving execution.

This role is at the heart of our customer delivery. You will be responsible for a team of consultants delivering both implementation projects and ongoing billable services to our customers.

Being a company in transition, we are evolving our structures, ways of working and operating model. That creates opportunities, but also requires clarity, ownership and strong leadership. And this role is key to making that happen.

Therefore, you should expect to be hands-on and actively involved in both leadership and execution from day one.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support a team of 15 consultants across multiple countries
  – Set clear direction, priorities and expectations for the team
  – Ensure performance management, coaching and continuous development of the employees
  – Build a strong team culture with ownership, accountability and collaboration
• Own delivery across two core tracks
  – Project implementations with larger, structured deliveries
  – Ongoing billable services with high volumes, but shorter tasks
  – Drive utilisation, capacity planning and forecasting
• Ensure strong daily execution across customers and teams and take direct ownership when needed, including stepping into deliveries
• Establish structure where needed, including processes, follow-up and reporting
• Handle operational responsibilities, including financial follow-up

What we are looking for

• You have previously led a Professional Services or Delivery organisation with full operational and people responsibility
• You have a strong track record of developing teams and driving performance
• You excel in utilisation optimisation, capacity planning and commercial delivery
• You have experience balancing project work and ongoing services/support
• You are hands-on and step in where needed
• You are comfortable operating in an environment where not everything is fully defined
• You make decisions and drive progress without waiting for perfect data
• You bring structure, but stay pragmatic and focused on execution
